BIOGRAPHY:
Erin grew up in St. Paul, MN where she lived until college. As a product of St. Paul Central High School, Erin has always had a diverse group of friends and chosen to surround herself with eclectic people.
Erin began working for the State of MN Tenth Judicial District in August 2006 as a Guardian ad Litem. She spent 7 years advocating for the best interest of children and vulnerable adults in child protection matters as well as civil family court matters. From that position, Erin moved to working for the State of MN Public Defender's Office, still within the Tenth Judicial District as a Dispositional Advisor.
Previous employment has been with the Salvation Army where Erin worked at the Booth Brown House as a Lead Counselor with runaway, at risk youth as well as the Woman's Recovery Center with chemically dependent women who learned survival skills from selling their bodies. In each of these positions, Erin has worked to provide her clients with hope and direction to address their issues and concerns.
Erin worked for the Minneapolis Police Department and learned a broad set of skills on how to diffuse situations as well relate to any person by treating them with respect. Each one of Erin's professional and personal experiences has prepared her for work as a Sentencing Advisor. She is dedicated and professional as well as courteous and responsible.
Erin has found a perfect balance between human connections, helping others, professional writing and speaking on behalf of those who feel voiceless in this position. She will work hard to share your story or aid in your case as well as advocate for your best interest in court matters.
